Learning Contents

Working knowledge of RF devices and RF device test

This course is laboratory learning with a real test system.
Each student will use workstation online and offline nd learn how to create test programs and operate GUIs.

Detailed Course Content

  • Introduction to wireless testing on the V93000 (RF measurement suite, features, general measurements
  • RF HW overview (measurement process, support rack & test head components)
  • RF SW overview (test flow, test suites, firmware commands, control processes, files, directories, wireless objects)
  • Lists (concept, creating/editing lists, resource concept, creating/editing resources)
  • Bindings (binding concept, editor, syntax, instances, execution)
  • Examples of RF stimuli (creating a stimulus, tone-combining, modulation, multisite, ACLR-optimized stimulus, power measurement stimulus)
  • Examples of RF measurements (power out/in, gain, time domain, demodulation, adjacent channel power)
  • AWG & digitizer setup (RFIC IQ analog option setup)
  • RF path calibration (purpose of RF calibration, calibration process, procedures, enabling calibration, cal information files, de-embedding calibration, noise figure calibration)

 

Programming reference (wireless classes, lists, resources, bindings, firmware commands)
Using RF debug tools (spectrum analyzer tool, debug plots)
