Purposes and Usage of Personal Data

Advantest will process with our best possible care the Personal Data that you have provided us when visiting this website, when doing business with us or when otherwise contacting Advantest.

We have adopted strict security policies and safeguards to protect Personal Data from unauthorized access, loss, alteration and destruction. We have assigned Regional Information Security Officers who manage the implementation and the compliance with data protection rules in the countries where Advantest does business. We also provide training within the company on the importance of protecting Personal Data and are constantly striving to protect Personal Data throughout all facets of the company.

We will not disclose, provide, or transfer Personal Data that you have provided to a third party without your permission, or unless permitted or required by applicable law. Logfiles

Every time you access our website, your browser automatically transmits some information to our servers, such as date and time of access, name of the requested file, IP address of the requesting device, information about the browser type and version used, your operating system, websites from which your system reaches our website and websites accessed from your system through our website. It is necessary that our system temporarily stores your IP address so that the website can be delivered to your computer. We store this information in so-called log files for up to 1 year and solely use the listed data to ensure the continued functioning and optimization of our website, e.g. through detecting malfunctions and protecting from cyberattacks as well as to secure our IT systems. Furthermore, temporary storage of the log files is used for error detection and error prevention. The data will not be used for marketing purposes in this context. After the stated time period, the log files will be deleted or anonymized.
